
About BCU > Facilities
BCU capabilities are supported by advance machines with high precision, such as: 5-axis CNC-Multitasking machine, large CNC machining-center, heavy-duty vertical CNC-lathe, GTAW / SMAW quality welding, shotblasting-room etc.
To ensure the product performance, BCU has facilities for testing of pumps and systems, such as underground water reservoir of 180 m3, standby power-supply up to 1.3 MW, Coriolis flowmeter (accuracy of 0.05%), DTC Variable Speed Drive, direct shaft torquemeter, simultaneous 4-points vibration pick-up, modular data processing with scada, and many other facilities.

BCU is supported by capable welders with high certification by Direktorat Jendral Minyak dan Gas and Direktorat Jendral Energi Baru Terbarukan & Konservasi Energi. They work in a special space equipped with welding machines, working tables, plasma cutter, and other welding equipment in the welding room in BCU's workshop.

BCU workshop is equipped with shot blasting or abrasive blasting facility. Shotblasting is part of BCU fabrication process for surface prepatation so that its coating can be long-lasting. Shot blasting utilizes high pressure stream of steel shots to remove corrosion and surface contaminants and roughen a smooth surface.

The painting room houses not only the painting process but also the coating process of BCU product. It is also complete with high-temperature dryer to ensure BCU product have high quality protection.

Our 3D scanner can be used for Quality control, inspection, on-machine verification, reverse engineering, virtual assembly or 3D modelling. Its light weight and high-performance laser scanners make the it an all-purpose 3D measurement, analysis and digitizing tool

CNC stands for computer numerical control. BCU operates 5-axis large machines with high capability and high accuracy to make complex components with ultra high precision.

BCU's double column five-face machining-center is capable of heavy cutting to high accuracy finishing for mold & die works and large complex parts.
